Code, Article XIV, as amended, and the standardized codes\n               adopted thereunder as promulgated by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry,\n               as the official Construction Code of Marshall Township for regulating and governing\n               the construction, alteration, repair, movement, equipment, removal, demolition, location,\n               maintenance, occupancy or change of occupancy of every building or structure; and\n               each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said\n               Uniform Construction Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof,\n               as if fully set out in this Chapter, with any additions, insertions, deletions and\n               changes, if any, prescribed in this Chapter.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr0\">\n               B.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content1\">\n               <span class=\"ital\">Existing Township building codes.</span> Pursuant to § 303(b)(1) of the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act, 35 P.S. § 7210.303(b)(1),\n               as amended, Township building code ordinances including, but not limited to, the Township\n               ordinances listed below, which were originally adopted prior to July 1, 1999, or reenactments\n               of provisions of simultaneously repealed ordinances which were originally adopted\n               prior to July 1, 1999, which contain provisions which equal or exceed the specific\n               requirements of the regulations promulgated under the Pennsylvania Construction Code\n               Act shall remain in effect until such time as any such provisions fail to equal or\n               exceed the minimum requirements of the regulations promulgated under the Pennsylvania\n               Construction Code Act.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr1\">\n               (1)\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Ordinance No. 253, enacted December 13, 1993, which adopted the 1993 edition of the\n               BOCA National Building Code, with certain modifications and revisions thereto.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr1\">\n               (2)\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Ordinance No. 254, enacted on December 13, 1993, which adopted the 1990 edition of\n               the CABO One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code, with certain modifications and revisions\n               thereto.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr1\">\n               (3)\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Ordinance No. 274 enacted on October 11, 1995, which adopted the 1993 edition of the\n               BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, with certain modifications and revisions thereto.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr1\">\n               (4)\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Ordinance No. 281, enacted on March 6, 1996, which amended Ordinance No. 253 to modify\n               the 1993 edition of the BOCA National Building Code related to fire equipment, fire\n               substation storage areas and smoke proof exit ways.\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"incr1\">\n               (5)\n               </p>\n            \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Ordinance No. 293, enacted on May 6, 1997, which amended<a href=\"\" data-chunk-id=\"PTIIGELE_CH52BUCOCO\" class=\"section-link\" data-product-id=\"15481\"> Chapter 52</a> of the Marshall Township Code of Ordinances, Building Construction, and<a href=\"\" data-chunk-id=\"PTIIGELE_CH79FIPR\" class=\"section-link\" data-product-id=\"15481\"> Chapter 79</a> of the Marshall Township Code of Ordinances, Fire Prevention, to adopt the 1996 edition\n               of the BOCA National Building Code, 1995 edition of the CABO One- and Two-Family Dwelling\n               Code and the 1996 edition of the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code, with certain\n \t\t\n            <p class=\"content2\">\n               Section 403.1(b)(3): § 401.1(b)(3), which excludes and exempts certain accessory structures\n               from application of the Uniform class=\"content3\">\n               The following structures are exempted and excluded from application of the Uniform\n               Construction Code if the structure has a building area less than
